Like Water for Conservation: Water conservation is a focus at Hotel Terra, which does its part with low-flow fixtures and dual-flush toilets, as well as solar-powered faucets and waterless urinals in public restrooms. The hotel’s water-saving systems, including native landscaping requiring no irrigation, account for a 34% reduction in annual water use. Meantime, runoff water is collected in an underground tank, filtered and released back into the environment at a steady drip, reducing potential pollution.

Breathing in Through the Outdoors: According to the EPA, indoor air is three times more polluted than outdoor air. Hotel Terra raises indoor air quality by circulating large amounts of outdoor air into guest rooms and employing energy recovery technology to recoup 81% of heat from existing stale air. The hotel also uses low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) carpets and pads, sealants, paints and adhesives.
“Music on Main” (now) in Victor, Idaho is on tomorrow night! If you are looking for a fun evening activity, take a trip to the “Other Side” (ie: round up some friends and car-pool over the Teton Pass) for some awesome, outdoor, free tunes.
Music on Main is a very well-attended weekly event. Victor’s main drag is teeming with people on Thursday evenings. Seemingly everyone from Teton County gathers for the lively event, setting up lawn chairs and blankets to relax and listen to the music. With singles generally hanging in the back socializing and sipping beers, Music on Main is alive with families and just about anyone else in the front. The outdoor stage is well placed and has welcomed acts playing hillbilly strings, southern rock, jazz, funk, Celtic and bluegrass.
