December 31: New Years Eve Celebration at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

“Start off your New Year’s Eve Celebration by watching children ski down Eagle Rest with glow sticks in hand. Tommy Moe, Olympic Gold Medalist, leads the kids down the hill at dusk! Stay for the adult torchlight and fireworks show at 6:00 PM. Sign up for the glow worm parade at the Kids Ranch on the day of the event.”

And nothing says New Years Eve like 2 for 1 drinks at Cascade. 5-8 pm.

This weekend in Jackson Hole is bound to be chock full of fun.

The annual Teton Village Christmas Tree Lighting with holiday music, hot chocolate, cookies and a visit from Santa “dropping out of his big red sleigh” brings a magical evening to Jackson Hole - perfect for families and partiers alike.  

Paties aboud throughout the village and the people will have good reason to celebrate. Word is Thunder and Sublette chairs and the Big Red Box will be moving folks up the mountain!

With the passing Jackson’s local holiday hand craft fair, the begone days of Black Friday are only a miserable memory. On this Modify Monday, we’d like to plug buying locally or at least handmade. Snow King Mountain, rising dramatically from the Valley Floor, just six blocks from the famous Jackson Town Square, is the backdrop for the Town of Jackson. Founded in 1939, Snow King was the first ski area in Jackson Hole and one of the first in the United States.
