The hotel’s water-saving systems, including native landscaping requiring no irrigation, account for a 34% reduction in annual water use. Meantime, runoff water is collected in an underground tank, filtered and released back into the environment at a steady drip, reducing potential pollution.

In honor of modification and all things local, today’s spotlight is on skiing local.

 Skiing Magazine features an interview and trailer from Jackson Hole-based KGB Productions new project, “Wyoming Triumph.” Shot on LOCation in the great Equality State, the filmmakers decided to forgo extraneous travel to exotic locations for studying the art of skiing right in their wild back yard of Wyoming. The movie will officially be out in Fall 2010 but here’s a little taste of Triumph thus far. Yee haw!
