Nine Francois and Oswald Gallery at Hotel Terra Jackson Hole

Nine Francois’ photographs is undoubtably one the most immediately stunning sights in Hotel Terra Jackson Hole’s lobby. Friday’s Oswald Gallery reception at Hotel Terra presents a rare opportunity to not only view Nine Francois’s latest work, but also to meet the hugely talented artist herself.

As Leya Simmons Oswald of Oswald Gallery writes, “Nine Francois’ unusual approach to animal portraiture is daring, evocative and, quite simply, beautiful. To achieve minimalist and graphically powerful images, Francois locates previously rescued or captive from birth beasts and either befriends them or leaps in and out of their environments in an attempt to capture the animal in it’s habitat, yet set against the most obvious of settings — the sky.”
Tomorrow we are excited to offer the great chance to welcome Oswald Gallery and Nine Francois as well as our guests and friends to an exhibit/reception at Hotel Terra.

These artists receptions will benefit the Center of Wonder, with a percentage of each sale benefiting the Center’s mission to aide in “the discovery of wonder through educational programs in nature and the arts. The Center of Wonder works in collaboration with community non-profits to increase affordable, quality, nature-based programs for children and families and to bring art into everyday life by supporting public art in Jackson.”
