Happy Fourth of July from big, wonderful, Wyoming and Jackson Hole!

This year in Teton Village, we’re celebrating for two nights of Independence with “Red, White & 2.” That’s right, two nights of fireworks, festivities and free, live music.

Here’s some more information from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort:

 ”Festivities begin on Saturday on July 3rd at 7:30pm when Isaac Hayden: Live and Unplugged sets the tone with an outdoor blast of acoustic jamming in the new Village Commons. The Aerial Tram will be running till 8:30pm, giving visitors a rare summit perspective on the valley as day fades to night. Far away from bright lights, Teton Village’s dark skies will be home to a booming fireworks display starting at 10pm.”

“On the 4th the “Jackson 6 Band” will kick off the party at 7:30pm at the base of the Tram. The Gondola will be running till 9pm for late evening shuttles to the top. The fireworks begin at 10pm, with a Teton scale grand finale. We invite you to join us for one of the most memorable weekends of the summer.”

As the final weeks of skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort start to wind down and the daylight lasts a little, the social scene at the base really starts to ramp up. Considering the endless opportunities for apres out there, remember that that there’s lots of fun to be had at Cascade. December 29 & 30th: Apres Ski Fun at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort:

December 31: New Years Eve Celebration at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

“Start off your New Year’s Eve Celebration by watching children ski down Eagle Rest with glow sticks in hand. Tommy Moe, Olympic Gold Medalist, leads the kids down the hill at dusk! Stay for the adult torchlight and fireworks show at 6:00 PM. Sign up for the glow worm parade at the Kids Ranch on the day of the event.”

And nothing says New Years Eve like 2 for 1 drinks at Cascade. 5-8 pm.

One of the greatest displays of physical and mental fitness and endurance crosses the finish line in Jackson Hole this weekend. The European-style LOTOJA classic covers 206 miles and runs from Logan, UT to Jackson Hole, WY in just one day. Talk about living well!

We welcome LOTOJA riders, their support crew, friends and family to Teton Village this weekend for a little rest and relaxation after a long ride.

While he is known for his short ribs and particular brand of Southern influence, Cascade’s Chef Kevin manages to pull off many a culinary surprise at events like this.
