Earth Day is today. Let’s take the spirit surrounding the official day and apply it every day by modifying our daily habits and changing the way we operate, watching what we consume and considering every alternative to our traditional daily practice. But today let’s celebrate! Do something extraordinary for the environment today and then get out in our beautiful surroundings and enjoy the stunning beauty of our natural world. Jackson Hole will be celebrating all week. As Live Well Jackson Hole covers sustainability on a rather regular basis, we’ll cut to the chase and let locals and visitors what’s going on and how you can get in the mix of celebrating and honoring mother earth in Jackson Hole this week courtesy of our Eco-Partner Pursue Balance:

Center for the Arts Theatre, 7:00pm – FREE
Frogs have been hopping the planet for 250 million years. They’ve evolved into some of the most wondrous and diverse animals on earth. But suddenly they’re slipping away. From Australia to Panama, we’ve already lost one third of the world’s amphibians and more are disappearing each day. Some say it’s the greatest extinction since the dinosaurs. Ecosystems are beginning to unravel, important medical cures are vanishing, and we’re losing a dear, old friend. It’s one of the greatest environmental crises of our time. Scientists and citizens around the world are rushing to stem the tide before the next frog crosses the thin, green line.
